After cold drawing, seamless steel pipes need to undergo stress relieving annealing to eliminate residual stress, improve material structure, and enhance material plasticity, in order to prevent the occurrence of fracture failure of seamless steel pipes. At present, the material of stainless steel seamless steel pipes in China is ordinary 45 # or 20 # steel 27SiMn steel, which improves the metal strength through cold drawing deformation; However, it comes at the cost of sacrificing the plasticity and toughness of the metal. High precision cold drawn seamless steel pipes are based on the market for their high dimensional accuracy and high strength performance. It is necessary to ensure that the deformation is within a certain range in order to maximize the material's performance and reduce adverse effects on the material.


The deformation of seamless steel pipes is too small to meet the requirements of surface smoothness and dimensional accuracy, nor can they meet the strength indicators of components; If the deformation is too large, the plasticity and toughness of seamless steel pipes will decrease too much, and the grains will be pulled too thin and elongated, forming a fibrous structure, and the metal will have obvious anisotropy. The axial direction of cold drawn seamless steel pipes, parallel to the elongation direction of the grain, increases the strength; The radial direction of cold-drawn seamless steel pipe is perpendicular to the elongation direction of the grain, and the strength actually decreases. However, the larger stress of the hydraulic cylinder is present in the radial direction of the seamless steel pipe. Therefore, excessive deformation is not conducive to fully utilizing the performance of the cold-drawn pipe.
